The Madras Chamber of Commerce & Industry, is organizing a Conference on “Corporate Social Responsibility – The Next Phase” on Friday, 26th February 2016 between 4 .00 pm and 8.00 pm at Hotel ITC Grand Chola, Guindy, Chennai. The Conference is powered by The Hindu, Business Line.  

The conference will help to understand the path of CSR post 2013 regime after the Companies Act 2013 made it a part of regulatory compliance for certain class of businesses, and the legal and social obligations of all stakeholders, be it Business, Government, NGO’s or Civil Society to harness its potential for the economic and social well being of the society.

A gamut of speakers will address on the various dimensions and evolution of CSR starting from Chief Guest Mr. Lakshmi Narayaranan,VC Cognizant, followed by Ms.Gayathri, IICA, Mr. Santosh Jayaraman, KPMG, Mr. Ashesh Ambasta, ITC Ltd, Mr. Abishek Humbad, NextGen and Mr. Ashoke Joshi, Srinivasan Services Trust. The topics include CSR through corporate lens,  Aligning State’s development initiatives with CSR, Linking Corporate and Beneficiaries through CSR and others.
