The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has released a new order notifying the amendments in the CSR rules for companies.

These rules  are  called the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Amendment Rules, 2021.

Many amendments have been made through these rules like: CSR Annexure, CSR Expenditure, CSR Implementation. All these require deeper understanding both for execution and compliance and many doubts have already been raised by our member companies. In order to understand the notification and the amendments, the Madras Chamber, under the auspices of the Company Law & CSR  Committee is jointly  organizing a  “FAQs on the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy under the Companies Amendment Rules 2021” on Tuesday, 9^th  February 2021  between 4.00 pm and 05.30 pm (Virtual meeting).

All the possible questions will be compiled by Dr.B.Ravi, Chairman, Company Law Committee and would be answered by Ms. B.Chandra, Co Chair of the Company Law Committee, followed by a discussion.
